APV Monitor is an R&D project on agri-PV. Its objective is to develop monitoring solutions for agri-PV power plants. The scope ranges from simultaneous, fully autonomous drone inspections of PV and plant growth to the techno-economic optimization of the operation phase of such integrated PV concepts. We will test all developments at the “Alt-Morschenich Agri-Food and Energy Park” of Forschungszentrum Jülich.
The project consortium consists of Volateq GmbH (project lead), PVRADAR Labs GmbH and Forschungszentrum Jülich. In addition, a big thanks goes to Innovationsförderagentur NRW, who accepted us into their Energie.In.NRW program. The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Action and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and the European Union co-finance the project.
